작가 손권일{1968)은 뉴욕 록펠러센타 채널가든에 전시된 숯 미술 1 세대 이배 화가에 이어 숯과 흑연, 검은 둘, 나비를 소재로 한 미니멀아트의 2 세대 작가 입니다 
작가의 삶의 숨결, 고난, 외로움 등이 호흡하여 그가 걸어온 인생과 그가 극복해온 외로운 시간들이 잠신하게 작품에 녹 아 관객의 눈길을 사로잡고 있습니다.
인간이 이루어 놓은 물질문명도 자연의 시간을 통해서 얻어 지고 결국 자연의 섭리를 이해하고 자연과 함께 공존해야 한 다는 작가의 내면이 표현된 작품을 선보입니다.

Artist Son Kwon-il (born in 1968) is a second- generation minimalist artist who follows in the footsteps of the first-generation charcoal artists exhibited at New York's Rockefeller Center Channel Garden. His works incorporate materials such as charcoal, graphite, black stone, and butterflies.

The artist's life experiences, struggles, and moments of loneliness are interwoven into his artwork, capturing the attention of viewers. His pieces express an inner understanding that human civilization, despite its material achievements, ultimately derives from the natural order, emphasizing the need for coexistence with nature.
